Kappa Delta participates in several philanthropic efforts, ranging from the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A to Prevent Child Abuse America, and Children’s Hospital of Richmond, Virginia. Since its inception, the sorority has graduated many notable members, including Ali Landry, former Miss USA and a notable actress, Georgia O'Keeffe, Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient, and Leigh Anne Roberts Tuohy, upon whom the film The Blind Side was based.
